Dr. Frankel specializes in both rhinoplasty and revision rhinoplasty. For primary rhinoplasty procedures, Dr. Frankel strives to provide patients with the nose they have always wanted. This may mean that the overall size of the nose may be increased or decreased, a hump may be removed, the nostril width may be narrowed or the bridge or tip of the nose may be reshaped. Surgery can improve not only the appearance of the nose but the function as well. Revision rhinoplasty also improves the appearance and function of a nose but on a nose that has been previously operated on.
The facelift is a plastic surgery procedure which can improve the appearance of sagging tissue and wrinkles in the midface, jawline and neck. During surgery, excess skin and fat are removed and the underlying muscles are altered. The result is a more youthful and firmer looking facial appearance.
Eyelid surgery, or blepharoplasty, is a procedure which can correct excess skin of the upper and/or lower eyelids, including bags and puffiness. During surgery, excess skin, tissue and fat are removed. Eyelid surgery restores a more youthful and rested appearance to the eye area.
Botox can be used in a simple, non-surgical procedure to improve some facial wrinkles including frown lines and crow’s feet. With a few tiny injections, these lines are diminished for up to four months. Botox works by temporarily inhibiting the muscle action responsible for certain facial expressions.
Otoplasty, or ear surgery, is a surgical procedure which corrects prominent or floppy ears. The surgery makes the ears more proportionate to the head. Otoplasty may be performed on adults and on children as young as age six.
