He was selected by his peers as one of Indianapolis Monthly Magazine’s “Top Docs” in 2005. He currently sits on the board of directors of the Indianapolis Medical Society. At Hamilton Facial Plastic Surgery in Indianapolis, Indiana, Dr. Hamilton and his staff are dedicated to providing an expert level of care and knowledge to all of their patients.

Dr. Hamilton performs facelift surgery, or rhytidectomy as it is also known, to restore a more youthful appearance to the face and neck. This surgery improves the signs of aging by removing excess skin and tightening underlying muscles.

Another rejuvenating procedure, the browlift, also known as a forehead lift, improves a drooping brow to create a refreshed and more youthful appearance to the forehead area. The procedure effectively smoothes the forehead, reduces horizontal lines and furrows along the brow area and elevates the eyebrows.

Eyelid surgery, or blepharoplasty, is a surgical procedure which rejuvenates and refreshes the eyes. The procedure removes excess fat and sagging skin of the upper and lower eyelids to improve the appearance of drooping eyelids, puffiness and bags. A less invasive transconjunctival blepharoplasty removes excess fat only from the lower eyelids.

Rhinoplasty is the surgical procedure designed to reshape the nose. A number of alterations can be made to improve the appearance of the nose. For instance, the tip or bridge of the nose may be reshaped, a hump may be removed, the nostrils may be narrowed, or the overall size of the nose may be reduced or increased. Dr. Hamilton is very careful when performing rhinoplasty to achieve a natural-appearing nose that does not look as if it has been operated on.

Injectables are commonly used to counteract the effects of aging. By injecting facial fillers like Restylane, Sculptra, Radiesse and Hylaform beneath the skin, wrinkles, creases, lines and other sunken facial areas are greatly improved. This is a minimally-invasive, non-surgical treatment offering excellent benefits. Botox is injectable filler that works by temporarily paralyzing certain muscles which are responsible for repeated facial expressions that can lead to wrinkles. Botox is effective in treating horizontal forehead furrows, frown lines, crow’s feet, and some lines around the mouth.

Other procedures that Dr. Hamilton performs include ear surgery, hair replacement and laser treatments.
