Applications for ABFPRS certification are open to both facial plastic surgeons and general plastic surgeons looking to specialize in facial plastic surgery. To date, approximately 800 AAFPRS members have been awarded additional certification by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
