Following in the footsteps of his father, Dr. Alvin Glasgold, Mark Glasgold chose to seek after a profession in medicine. After graduating from Duke University, he went ahead to Thomas Jefferson Medical School, in Philadelphia, where he got his M.D. In 1994, he got an master’s in biomedical engineering from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, then finished a residency in head and neck surgery at Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, the New York Hospital, and Cornell University, all in Manhattan. Glasgold finished his education as a fellow in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery under the support of the American Academy of Facial and Plastic Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) in 1994. He joined The Glasgold Group, his father’s practice, in 1995.
