The Academy Reaches Out to Support Members’ Practice Staff

More than 20 years ago, the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (AAFPRS) founded The Organization for Facial Plastic Surgeon Assistants (OFPSA), a sister association for the advancement of medical and administrative professionals who work in a facial plastic surgeon’s practice. Its mission is to grow and strengthen the practice and its employees through education, information sharing, and peer-to-peer support.

Membership extends benefits to practice medical and administrative staff, including, but not limited to:

  • Practice Managers
  • Nurses
  • Medical Estheticians
  • Surgery Coordinators
  • Billing Managers
  • Patient Coordinators

One annual membership fee covers all staff members within a single practice.

As a member, your practice team will have ready access to peer networks of medical and business practitioners to exchange best practices. The knowledge and experience shared will allow the practice to:

  • Better service patients, increasing satisfaction, loyalty, and referrals;
  • Increase practice effectiveness and efficiency, saving time and money; and,
  • Enhance the skills and abilities of staff members, driving up productivity, innovation, and employee longevity.

Annual Membership Fee: $180

OFPSA members stay on the leading-edge of technological advancements in medicine and in business, including the latest trends in management, marketing, and patient relations.
