Name Badge Policy
For security reasons, name badges will be required for admission to all AAFPRS events, including education sessions, hands-on workshops, social/networking events, and the Exhibit Hall. When in the meeting space, please wear your badge so that it is visible at all times.

  • Sharing or misuse of name badges, login credentials, presentation links, or any method of assisting unauthorized persons to gain access to any AAFPRS Foundation event is strictly prohibited.
  • Lost badges should be reported to the Registration staff.
  • For safety reasons, please remove your badge when you are outside of AAFPRS’ meeting and facilities or when venturing out into the local area.
Accessibility/ADA Compliance
If you require special assistance, auxiliary aids or other reasonable accommodations to fully participate in this event, please indicate those needs during the registration process. Or you may contact us directly at education@aafprs.org. Any information regarding your request will remain confidential.

Code of Conduct
This event is convened for the purpose of professional development and to facilitate collaboration, the exchanging of ideas, sharing best practices, and enhancing surgical outcomes.

The AAFPRS Foundation expects that everyone who participates in this event will be respectful of other attendees, industry partners, spouses or guests, hotel employees (all others they meet), and will alert AAFPRS staff or security of any dangerous situations or anyone in distress. We remind AAFPRS meeting participants that all professional ethics and norms apply as standards of behavior and interaction at this event.

Photography/Filming Release
AAFPRS has secured a Photographer/Videographer to take photos, document and capture official conference events and activities, including, but not limited to, educational sessions, networking breaks and receptions and the Exhibit Hall. These photos are for AAFPRS use only and may appear on the Academy’s website or in newsletters, conference brochures, social media outlets, and/or other promotional materials.

By registering and attending this event, you understand and agree that your image, likeness, name, voice and/or words may be captured in photographs or recordings taken during the meeting and grant AAFPRS unrestricted permission to use, publish, display, reproduce, copy and distribute such image, likeness, name, voice and/or words in AAFPRS-related publications, including social media and the website. Please note that such photos/recordings will not include actual content, slides or video contained within speaker presentations.

No-Recording or Photography | Patient Privacy
To protect confidential, proprietary or personal information, images and/or private discussions, taking unauthorized photos or recording lectures, presentation slides, exhibit booths, and/or conversations between attendees, speakers, exhibitors, is strictly prohibited.

Other than person photos or selfies, filming, photography, screen grabs or video capture of any portion of this event, including patient photos, surgical videos, presentation slides and/or written content is strictly forbidden. Furthermore, by registering for this event, participants agree to hold in strictest confidence any protected health information that may be revealed.

Health and Safety Protocols
The AAFPRS Foundation is committed to hosting the 2022 Advances in Rhinoplasty & Facial Rejuvenation Meeting as an in-person event and to providing a safe and healthy environment for all #AAFPRSRhinoRejuv participants. However, the responsibility for a safe and healthy event environment is shared among the event organizers, event venues, and event attendees.

Towards this end, AAFPRS attendees are expected to comply with all applicable requirements imposed by federal, state, and/or local health authorities, and are expected to adhere to and abide by all safety precautions the AAFPRS Foundation or Fontainebleau Miami Beach may implement to protect against the spread of COVID-19.

We encourage you to monitor this page to stay abreast of the latest updates on health and safety protocols for this event. We reserve the right to modify these policies and procedures at any time due to the rapidly changing nature of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Vaccination Requirement
To keep everyone as safe as possible, all attendees–including registrants, presenters, exhibitors, staff, volunteers, and vendors–are required to provideeither proof of full vaccination or proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken no more than 48-hours before arriving to pick up their badge on site.
  • While not required, a COVID-19 booster shot is strongly encouraged as extra protection.
  • Only vaccines authorized by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or the World Health Organization (WHO) will be accepted.
  • Acceptable COVID-19 Tests: Rapid Antigen or Rapid Molecular (PCR) test results generated from an official medical agency/clinic are acceptable. Antibody and at-home tests are NOT acceptable.
  • Vaccination and negative test verification data will be collected and processed by a third-party vendor to make your entry to the meeting faster, safer and more secure. Instructions will be provided approximately four weeks prior to the meeting.
IMPORTANT: The AAFPRS Foundation strongly encourages all attendees to be tested for COVID prior to traveling to the meeting in Miami Beach, even if fully vaccinated. Individuals who test positive or show symptoms of the virus should stay home and cancel their registration.

Mask Policy
The AAFPRS Foundation recommends masks at #AAFPRSRhinoRejuv, regardless of state or local ordinances.

  • We suggest attendees wear a snug, properly-fitting mask (covering both mouth and nose) while in the meeting space, including the registration area, session rooms, exhibit hall, and/or networking events, except for when actively eating or drinking.
  • Speakers/moderators who choose to wear a mask may remove their masks while giving their presentation.
Individual Responsibility & Assumption of Risk
While the AAFPRS Foundation will make every effort to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission on site, we cannot guarantee that attendees will not become infected with the virus. It is possible that attendees will come in contact with people in airports, shared ride services, and/or within the hotel who could potentially carry the virus, which is why the AAFPRS Foundation is requiring attendees to be fully vaccinated for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
  • You should not attend this event if you are experiencing or have experienced signs or symptoms of COVID-19 within 14 days prior to your arrival in Miami Beach.
  • You also should not attend if you believe you may have been exposed to a confirmed or suspected case of COVID or have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and are not yet cleared as non-contagious by state or local public health authorities or the health care team responsible for your treatment.
On site, we ask all conference participants to regularly and thoroughly wash or sanitize their hands throughout the day and to observe social distancing guidelines when applicable. Any public space where other people are present holds an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 and other communicable diseases.

Despite the many safety precautions in place, by registering for and attending an AAFPRS in-person event, registrants must acknowledge and agree to the following statements during the registration process:
  • I may still become exposed to and/or contract COVID-19. My participation in AAFPRS events is voluntary, and I choose to a accept the risk of contracting COVID-19 and/or other communicable diseases in order to attend this event.  I acknowledge and expressly assume all risks related to or arising from being exposed to or contracting COVID-19 or other communicable diseases during my travel to and from, and participation in any AAFPRS event.
  • I hereby release, waive, discharge and hold harmless AAFPRS, the AAFPRS Foundation and any of its officers, employees, affiliates, contractors, agents, exhibitors, supporters/sponsors, legal successors, and assigns from and against any and all claims, suits, demands, losses, damages, expenses, or liability of whatever kind that may arise during or as a result of my presence at this AAFPRS meeting, including but not limited to any such liability related to or arising out of illness, injury, or death associated with infection of COVID-19 or complications, symptoms, or other effects resulting from contracting COVID-19.
  • I will take necessary precautions while at this event including, but not limited to, following all state and local regulations, and following the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). I will also comply with any Health and Safety requirements imposed by the AAFPRS Foundation.
  • I agree to not attend an AAFPRS meeting if I feel ill, had recent exposure to a COVID-19 case or have tested positive for COVID-19 within 14 days of the event.
  • Furthermore, I understand that I will be required to upload proof of vaccination or proof of a negative COVID test within 48 hours of my arrival to the meeting.

Together, we can make this event as safe as possible. We look forward to seeing you!
